Kaye’s Bakery is a Southland based family run business with a name known New Zealand wide for its scrumptious baked goods. However, they wanted to take their online presence up a notch and approached us to build their brand awareness on social media through content creation that is consistent, fun, and approachable. Kaye’s Bakery also had the goal of increasing their website traffic and sales.

Our first task was to build brand awareness for Kaye’s Bakery on social media. Understanding the importance of upholding their “hands-on” approach, we created content that truly reflects the bakery’s brand values. Their Facebook page now reflects Kaye’s Bakery branding and is updated frequently with helpful baking tips, weekly specials, staff product picks, and lots of well-performing content. By increasing their Facebook page interaction and incorporating advertisements into their strategy, we have helped increase the website traffic, leading to a measurable boost in sales.

Social Media Marketing

Along the way, we’ve maintained their website and spruced up the Kaye’s Bakery history cards that are sent with online orders and tell the receiver about the family owned company. Maintaining their website had involved making small, but impactful changes that improve functionality and user experience while on the website. We also update their stock, take product images, and keep on top of their messaging.

The history card design takes inspiration from their new sleek, black look to keep consistency with their recently painted building and sign written vans. Then, we put to work our copywriting skills, rewriting the history of Kaye’s Bakery and making sure it aligns with their brand voice. The overall goal of redesigning and copywriting the cards was to put personality into them and really tell the Kaye’s story.

By creating a robust social media marketing strategy, creating regular content, and revamping their history cards, we have been able to help this iconic bakery to grow its brand and reach more customers online.

“Thank you so much for all the wonderful work you have done and continue to do for us on Kaye’s Bakery Website & Facebook. You guys have truly made a difference.”

FAQs

We know working with a design team can seem daunting. But here’s a few common questions that tell you a little more about working with us.

Every client and project is unique, but our objective always remains the same. Unlike other studios where you will only communicate with a project manager, every one of us is hands-on, and your point of contact will be the person working directly on your project. This ensures a more personalised and direct line of communication and allows for a better understanding and execution of your vision.

Something unique about us is we are all on the tools! What does this mean for you? Well, it means you when you meet with us and brainstorm for a project you will be talking with someone who has a good understanding of how the ideas could be executed, pick up any road bumps or even push the ideas further.

Something unique about us is we are all on the tools! What does this mean for you? Well, it means when you meet with us to brainstorm a project, you will be talking with someone who has an understanding of how the ideas could be executed, can pick up any road bumps, make recommendations, or push ideas even further.

Our team is intentionally small, valuing direct client contact and having the ability to deliver a more personalised experience.

Many of the skills needed within graphic design and visual communication services relate to one another. With a strong theoretical and practical understanding (as well as a heck of a lot of experience) our team can be versatile in the services we offer.

But we also know our limits, having a range of other specialist professionals in our contact list to take charge when a required skill isn’t our strong suit.

Each of us understands the value of personal and professional development, and we never stop learning newskills or taking the time for training.

Not at all! We work with clients from various locations, and geographical proximity is not a limitation. We can communicate effectively through virtual meetings, phone calls, and email. Regardless of your location, we are committed to providing the same level of dedication and support to all our clients.
