After establishing a strong partnership with Britta through our work with her business, BB Horse Care, she approached us with an exciting new venture in mind. While BB Horse Care had been dedicated to the well-being of horses, Britta was now eager to shift her focus towards the riders themselves. Armed with a business plan and a clear vision, Britta was ready to create a sister company, and needless to say, we were incredibly excited to be part of this journey!
The first step was creating the perfect name. We sat down for a brainstorming session with Britta, compiling a list of words that resonated with her business objectives. With a worn-out thesaurus and our heads spinning with words, we knew we had a clear winner – Soul & Saddle was brought to life. To sum up what the new business was about, we paired the name with the slogan “Connecting mind, body, and horse”.
Soul & Saddle had the name and a plan, now it needed a visual identity to bring the brand to life. Drawing inspiration from the tranquil serenity of the beach and the concept of ‘flow,’ we crafted a gentle and inviting text-based logo. This logo was thoughtfully paired with brand guidelines that defined the brand’s palette, featuring beachy beige tones and an ocean-rich teal. The next step was to craft engaging copywriting and establish Britta’s online presence with an information-rich website.
As Soul & Saddle transitioned into a fully-fledged business, Britta aspired to elevate her marketing efforts. She trusted us with the task of creating a comprehensive social media strategy and providing her with visual templates to streamline her social media content creation. To ensure success, we thoroughly researched her industry and target audience, resulting in the development of a ‘holy grail’ document. This social media strategy contained all the vital elements for managing a successful social media account, including a well-structured social media schedule, messaging guidelines, a distinctive tone of voice, and strategies for engaging with different target audiences. Our commitment to Soul & Saddle continues as we provide ongoing guidance and create essential brand collateral, supporting Britta on her exciting journey.

We know working with a design team can seem daunting. But here’s a few common questions that tell you a little more about working with us.
Every client and project is unique, but our objective always remains the same. Unlike other studios where you will only communicate with a project manager, every one of us is hands-on, and your point of contact will be the person working directly on your project. This ensures a more personalised and direct line of communication and allows for a better understanding and execution of your vision.
Something unique about us is we are all on the tools! What does this mean for you? Well, it means you when you meet with us and brainstorm for a project you will be talking with someone who has a good understanding of how the ideas could be executed, pick up any road bumps or even push the ideas further.
Something unique about us is we are all on the tools! What does this mean for you? Well, it means when you meet with us to brainstorm a project, you will be talking with someone who has an understanding of how the ideas could be executed, can pick up any road bumps, make recommendations, or push ideas even further.
Our team is intentionally small, valuing direct client contact and having the ability to deliver a more personalised experience.
Many of the skills needed within graphic design and visual communication services relate to one another. With a strong theoretical and practical understanding (as well as a heck of a lot of experience) our team can be versatile in the services we offer.
But we also know our limits, having a range of other specialist professionals in our contact list to take charge when a required skill isn’t our strong suit.
Each of us understands the value of personal and professional development, and we never stop learning newskills or taking the time for training.
Not at all! We work with clients from various locations, and geographical proximity is not a limitation. We can communicate effectively through virtual meetings, phone calls, and email. Regardless of your location, we are committed to providing the same level of dedication and support to all our clients.
